I agree with Kotaku on this one. I have no doubt that Microsoft could have begun an investigation for an event that took place two days ago, but it is entirely unbelievable that their investigation could be finished by now. Not only is this a PR move, but it's a bad one. No other company has made a statement at this time, and there's no benefit in being 'first'. Way to shrug off that 'evil juggernaut corp' image, Microsoft. Now go back to eating babies.
