Poli Sigh - Wisconsin's always keeping the (red)man down

Found this in a few different places, but here's a link to a site with a good breakdown

So many comments required, so little time.  Here's my effort:

A) The whole 'I can't tell if you're saying something bad' idea is ridiculous.  The only defense against this possibility is to know every single language ever.
B) Two teachers complained to the assistant coach and asked her to be benched.  This opens a whole bevy of problems such as 1) why didn't the head coach get involved?  Every single one I know would have, 2) how did two teachers have that power?  Shouldn't a system been in place to make sure a teacher with a bad day can't take it out on other students?  and 3) how did this punishment manage to be made so unilaterally?  Schools across the country SHOULD have a system of due process in place.
C) Before anyone says it: yes, I notice that the way the story is being told across the internet tends to be minus the students' reactions throughout all of this, but it sounds as if there needs to be a process in place to handle issues such as punishment at this school.
