Game On! - Reveangomancing the Stone

Saw Joystiq give some good talk on this.

A new name (Metal Gear Rising: Reveangance), a new developer (Platinum Games) and a new direction for the next Metal Gear title that will feature Raiden's sole story.  I was anxiously awaiting this game prior to the change, with concerns that, although I was able to think of plenty that could be done with Cyborg Raiden, it would become too action-y and slash-y.  Now I have lost almost all interest in the title.  It's not that I'm forecasting an unworthy title; instead it's that it was hard enough to swallow the apparent loss in stealth game play, and now I'm being told that apparently the emotional rollercoaster that was Big Boss, Liquid Snake, Solid Snake, and Revolver Ocelot's story means little.  I'd rather Platinum made another Bayonetta or worked with Konami on a fresh title while Kojima's team scrapped the idea of rising.

MG's storyline is seemingly complete, let's not be like those athletes that don't know when it's time to close the locker for good.
