Totaly Balls - Shoelaces: The Untold Story

Via Yahoo! Sports

I have 3 problems with this 'theory':

1) It came not from any other current, active player; but instead a guy who 'can figure his old coach would suggest something like this'.  It would mean more coming from an active player on either team involved in the incident.

2) How many times have we laughed and cringed when hearing players talk about things like purposefully punching each other in the balls, yanking on hair, twisting the head and neck of an opponent, spitting, puking, pissing, biting, farting, etc.  Yet the one thing that Suh and Dietrich-Smith wanted to keep from the media is shoelace untieing?

3) This also sounds like a rationalization, but let's follow it through: repeatedly playing the old chestnut prank of untieing someone's shoelaces could reasonably expect cleated foot stomps to the head and face?  Now I don't feel so bad about that time I didn't notice the whoopee cushion in my chair and started shooting up the place with my shotgun!
